Wrote some good stuff in the opening sections of Individual Performance in a Simple Functional Ecosystem, including a sketch of the single Actor learning and performance cycle on a set of tasks (project) and the formation of “proto-institutions” as an outgrowth of knowledge production and knowledge artifacts in general, and also semiotic processes.
